Hear From Our Happy RV Customers

Jim Ralston from Rochester Hills, MI

Dear Mr. Swanson,

I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Hilltop RV in Ishpeming for their excellent service to us while we were traveling through the U.P.

We experienced some plumbing problems in our coach and stopped in Marquette at the Michigan Travel Center to ask where we might find an RV service facility.

We were given Hilltop's number and we called and spoke with Mr. Jim Gresham who told us he would try to fit us into the schedule. Upon arrival and initial discussion, Jim assigned Shawn to see what he could determine. Within minutes, Shawn found the problem and said he could remedy it quickly. He did so, tested the system, found no leaking and buttoned up the piping. Jim Gresham sent us on our way very satisfied.

Unknown to us, a severe storm was approaching the U.P. We stayed at Lake Michigamme for the night only to have our power go out. Thinking it was a problem in our coach, I tried to find and check the various fuses. Finding no problem, we retired for the night. In the morning, we had no furnace. Even with the generator running, we had no heat. I called Jim from the campground and told him we were returning.

Again, within minutes he had Kirk looking for a problem. After the usual inspection and some head scratching, I informed Kirk that I had tried to check the fuse box the previous evening. It didn't take Kirk long to find that I had put one of the fuses back in the wrong slot. We now had a furnace.

Please know that you have a tremendous staff in Ishpeming that we will forever be indebted to for their assistance. The rest of the trip was uneventful and full of great U.P. hospitality.

I would like to thank Patti Britton for her fine service rendered to me while I was buying some truck camper tie down equipment for my ford F-250. There was a problem with the shipping and I was due to leave on a camping trip that had been planned for months. So, Patti sent the items over night and this was an expense to your company above and beyond normal operations. What I'm getting at is that your company really knows the meaning of customer satisfaction and that means a lot to me due to the fact that a lot company's both large and small tend to hide behind these words and don't deliver what they say.

I will always buy from Hilltop RV and will always tell anyone I know about your company and how good I was treated, and that Hilltop delivered no questions asked. This is a great way to do business and I'm very thankful that I know of a place where the customer really gets a great deal. Thanks again, Hilltop RV is the best.

Thank you so very much, and please mention this to Patti.

Kammie, just a note to let you know that the front jacks on my trailer got fixed on Saturday. The service was over the top, from the service desk to the shop the mechanic was the best he took the time to work and explain everything he was doing and why, so thanks.

To everyone at Hilltop RV,

Just wanted to let you know that so far our experience with Hilltop has been great. We just purchased a new Cougar from your dealership and everyone was extremely helpful and answered any and all questions. Both Chris and Cory were great to deal with.

Your internet web site is one of the reasons we chose Hilltop. We are about an hour away and we were able to do a lot of research on your site before we made the trip to talk with you. Cory was great at getting back to us with ideas, ballpark prices and trade in values which helped us narrow our search.

Also Kathy was excellent at making sure we were comfortable and was both helpful and informative at giving us different options to work with.

Thanks again and we look forward to picking up our unit soon and enjoying it for many years to come.

Just a note to express our gratitude to your extremely kind and considerate staff for its amazing hospitality and expertise working on an extremely hot and muggy last Saturday morning. You know, one of those travelers nightmares and managers delights.

Here we were, out-of-towners stranded with a camper that wouldn't open, caught at the mercy of both the elements and possible unscrupulous enterprises. I mean, short of being hit by a semi, how much worse can it get?

As I watched the two men sweating to repair the Palomino on this hot time-and-a-half rate Saturday morning, I could almost predict, see in fact, the monster maws of a huge bill open about to gobble us up. But then, after it was all over, a miracle occurred. A beautiful young woman walked out from behind the counter and presented us a bill for... what?? $51.15?? Fifty-one dollars and fifteen cents for all that?? 'My God, she must be kidding. This has to be a mistake. For all that work??'

But no! The Goddess smiled and said the bill was correct.

To all Gods and Goddesses at Hilltop RV, thank you so much.
